Reims Opera, formerly a large theatre in Reims, is a building located in Reims, France. It was built by Rémois architect Alphonse Gosset, with the collaboration of Narcisse Brunette and Ernest Leclère, and inaugurated in 1873. Italian-style theatre initially with 1,200 seats, then expanded by 100 seats during its restoration in 1931, it has a bright ceiling and a circular frieze with the theme of theatre arts. Although the architecture of the building is neo-classical, all interior decoration is Art Deco style (bas-reliefs, ironwork, chandeliers, paintings, etc.).
