palais de la Miniature et du Diorama
The miniature and diorama palace was a museum located near Rocamadour in the village of Calès (Lot) in a royal post office relay of 1682. This is one of the largest collections of miniature figures in France (18 dioramas representing scenes of life in the 18th and 19th centuries). The scenes appear in the form of dioramas, where thousands of figurines come together.
They are represented in three-dimensional sets. Each figurine is a unique piece, 54 mm high (international collection standard, scale 1/32e). In 2010, the museum celebrates its 30 years of activity and receives the label "Entreprise du patrimoine vivant", which distinguishes the artisanal and industrial know-how of excellence.
