parc Meissonier
Meissonier Park is a public garden located in Poissy in the Yvelines. He owes his name to the painter Ernest Meissonier, mayor of the city in 1878, who never owned it. He resided in a house in the enclosure of the Abbey next to this garden.
It is a twelve-hectare English-style garden with a large piece of water, many remarkable trees and a rose garden. It is close to the city centre, runs north along the avenue du Bon Roi Saint-Louis, in which gives the main entrance, and extends south to avenue Blanche de Castille. Towards the centre of the city, it adjoins the enclosure of the Abbey and on the opposite side towards the west, it adjoins the park of Villard.
He has been hosting the Maison de Fer since 2020.
