Parc Parissot

About

Parissot Park is a park joining Beaumontel and Beaumont-le-Roger. He was bequeathed to Beaumontel by Eure Senator Albert Parissot. There is an ancient theatre, ruined by centuries and by the siege of Beaumont.

Roger de Beaumont built several monuments in the 11th century that would symbolize the agreements between the Beaumont family and the Beaumontel family. In this park, bushes were used to hide the Resistant. It is one of the most visited places near Beaumont-le-Roger.
