Situated in the heart of the Val d'Aulnay in Châtenay-Malabry, the departmental estate of Vallée-aux-Loups is a 56-hectare set of parks and gardens, owned by the Hauts-de-Seine (France).
Four elements make up the estate: the arboretum of the Vallée-aux-Loups, the Vallée-aux-Loups - Maison et parc de François-René de Chateaubriand, Île Verte, and the wooded park This park, badly affected by the 1999 storm, is being rehabilitated and developed. It is within an 82-hectare pre-emption estate that also includes large private properties that cannot be loted and will eventually be added to the park: the property of Aulnay (or property Thévenin), the property of the Cherryraie, the property of the Porchères, the property of the Glycines, remains of the family of Creux nurseryists. The park and private properties are crossed by a small stream, the ru d'Aulnay, which flows in the open air, unlike the rest of its route downstream and upstream.
