About

Lumigny Safari Reserve, formerly Parc des Félins et Terre de Monkeys, is a French zoological park located in the commune of Lumigny-Nesles-Ormeaux in Seine-et-Marne. The park, with a cumulative area of 92 hectares, is the territory of more than six hundred animals belonging to nearly ninety different species and subspecies. Lumigny Safari Reserve also hosts the largest diversity of felines on the same geographic site in the world.

The concept has been the same since the foundation of the park: to present wild animals on vast natural territories designed for their well-being. The establishment is also the home of more than 150 primates and 200 birds. The park opened to the public on October 14, 2006, when most of the animals came from the Parc des Félins d'Auneau, located in Auneau-Bleury-Saint-Symphorien.
