Menhir du Moulin Hilaire

The Menhir du Moulin Hilaire also known as Menhir du Bois Gilbert or Pierre Longue is a menhir located in Gennes in the French department of Maine-et-Loire.

Protection: The building is listed as historical monuments by order of 8 April 1982.

Description: It is a sandstone slab with local sabals of rectangular shape, 3.25 m high and 1.50 m wide for a thickness of 0.70 m at the base. The large faces are of trapezoidal shape and profile, a tightening in the upper quarter gives the impression of drawing a head shape. Cut flints were found nearby.
