Pierre levée de La Roche-l'Abeille

La Pierre Levée is a dolmen located in La Roche-l'Abeille in the French department of Haute-Vienne.

Description: The dolmen is facing southeast/northwest. It consists of four granite slabs on which rests a single cover table of substantially triangular shape:

The funeral chamber is at least 2.15 m long by 1.50 m wide.

Folklore: According to one legend, the stones were brought by three bergers, one of which, being lame, could only carry a smaller stone, leading to the inclination of the building.
