Pont de Lagnieu

The bridge of Lagnieu is a bridge crossing the Rhône between the communes of Saint-Sorlin-en-Bugey (Ain) and Vertrieu (Isère). It is a road bridge of RD 1075 (ex-RN 75). The current structure is an arched bridge with upper reinforced concrete deck, with a limestone covering adorned with bossing.

It consists of six arches in pairs of 50 m, 52 m (central line) and 50 m. It supports a carriageway of about 6 m wide framed with two sidewalks less than a meter. It is close to the town of Lagnieu which gave it its name.
