Route Richard-Cœur-de-Lion

The Richard-Coeur-de-Lion route is a 3-point tourist route located on the outskirts of the Périgord and Limousin. The first branch starts from Rochebrune (Charente), the second from Pompadour (Corrèze) and the third from Limoges (Haute-Vienne). They meet at a central point in Nexon, Upper Vienna.

It allows to discover 23 sites and monuments as well as remarkable landscapes and many other riches of this territory. It passes through Châlus, where Richard the Lion Heart died in 1199, hence the name given to this itinerary.
