rue de l'Avenir
The " rue de l'Avenir" is a rolling sidewalk installed in Paris during the Universal Exhibition of 1900. It is a closed circuit forming a loop of 3.5 km. It was designed by American engineers Schmidt and Silsbee, inventors of the rolling sidewalk at the 1893 Universal Exhibition in Chicago.
