Fontaines Salées archeological site

The archaeological site of the Salt Fountains is situated on horseback in the commune of Foissy-lès-Vézelay and the south of the commune of Saint-Père, in Yonne and in the north of Morvan, France. It is the point of emergence of salt springs that were exploited for salt or baths, from Neolithic to the Middle Ages. The site was classified as a historical monument by the decrees of 25 January 1936 and 14 January 1942.
