The Protestant Temple of Charenton is a religious building located 12 rue Guérin in Charenton-le-Pont. The parish is a member of the United Protestant Church of France. Charenton was the first place of Protestant worship authorized in the Paris region by the edict of Nantes in 1607. The site of the first and then the second temple, the latter razed in 1685, is located in the territory of the present commune of Saint-Maurice (which belonged until 1843 to the commune of Charenton-Saint-Maurice).
