The Théâtre-Musée des Capucines, also known as the Théâtre des Capucines musée Fragonard, is a private museum dedicated to perfumery, located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris at 39 boulevard des Capucines, Paris, France. It is closed on Sundays, entrance is free. The museum was created in 1993 by Fragonard in a former theatre, the Capucines Theatre, dating from 1889.
It exhibits stills, laboratory bottles, rotten pots, and perfume roasters, as well as animals and plants that supply the raw materials for perfumery. A collection of perfume bottles illustrates 3,000 years of manufacture.
