About
Open Theatre, also known as the National Centre for Contemporary Dramaturgies, is a theatre of essays and creation. Théâtre Ouvert was created in 1971 at the Festival d'Avignon by Lucien and Micheline Attoun; he was active there until 1977. Located in Paris from 1981, it has its headquarters at 159 avenue Gambetta in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.
