théâtre du Bilboquet
The Théâtre du Bilboquet is a theatre troupe created in 1974 by Patrice Fay and Patrick Chanot. It takes the name of a small theatre located on Rue Saint-Benoît in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the VIe de Paris. She presents about ten shows in the hall of the Cultural Centre of Xe, rue du Château-Landon in Paris with actors most often from the Ecole Internationale Jacques Lecoq. We will remember the creations of L'Autre Don Juan d'Eduardo Manet and de Mégaphonie de Louis Calaferte.
In 1978, Jean-Michel Dagory took over the fate of the troupe with the creation of Gareth Owen's Penalty, which was performed exclusively for the French football team, before the Mundial in Argentina. Among the actors who played in the various shows were Daniel Trubert, Sylvie Flepp, Nathalie Schmidt and Pierre Frenkiel.
