The Théâtre du Chaudron is a theatre created in the fall of 1972 by Tanith Noble, which began in 1969 at the Bread and Puppet Theatre in New York. In 1992, the Chaudron Workshop became the Théâtre du Chaudron, a host theatre whose programming revolves mainly around projects directed by women and Circassian projects, and since 2011 programming mainly devoted to contemporary dance. It is located in La Cartoucherie du bois de Vincennes in Paris. Anne-Marie Choisne was the director until 2011 with the appointment of choreographer Carolyn Carlson.
