The Chemin de Fer de Rillé (CFR) is a narrow-track tourist located at Lake Rillé in Rillé, in the Centre-Val de Loire region of the Indre-et-Loire department.
The association is officially registered in the Official Journal on 10 June 1977 in the form of a living museum opened from June to September on Sundays and holidays, by two railway enthusiasts who frame with twelve members a group of young college students among whom the aim is to preserve rare and old equipment, including steam locomotives; It is installed in Marcilly-sur-Maulne (Indre-et-Loire) and will lay in that year its first hundred meters of tracks (a first train embryo had been created privately in 1972). A first line of 0.7 km long runs on Sundays and holidays with diesel machines, from 1981 to 1985, then steam, from 1986 to 1990 from a schedule to five regular trains plus one optional that for the latter is of this first category during the two months of the high summer season from 1 May to 31 August folded back July and August for the 1989 season which includes possibilities of package "Train+castle" with visit of a castle...
