Train de Rillé

The Chemin de Fer de Rillé (CFR) is a narrow-track tourist located at Lake Rillé in Rillé, in the Centre-Val de Loire region of the Indre-et-Loire department.

The association is officially registered in the Official Journal on 10 June 1977 in the form of a living museum opened from June to September on Sundays and holidays, by two railway enthusiasts who frame with twelve members a group of young college students among whom the aim is to preserve rare and old equipment, including steam locomotives; It is installed in Marcilly-sur-Maulne (Indre-et-Loire) and will lay in that year its first hundred meters of tracks (a first train embryo had been created privately in 1972).
