Trois-Épis

Les Trois-Épis is a hamlet shared between the municipalities of Ammerschwihr, Turckheim and Niedermorschwihr, located in the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace (present-day Grand Est region). It is located 13 kilometers from Colmar and perched at more than 670 meters in the Vosges massif. A 1970s postal flame entitled Trois-Épis, indicated in subtitle Alt 700 m and carried the drawing of 3 ears of wheat and fir trees on hills. It is a hamlet very popular with Catholics by its history, due to an apparition of the Virgin in the 15th century.
