The Rapid Rolling Sidewalk (TRR) is an experimental treadmill built by the company "Industrial Construction of the Mediterranean" (CNIM). Installed in 2002 at Montparnasse station - Bienvenüe of the Paris metro, it reached for a period the speed of 11 km/h (3 m/s) compared with 3 km/h (0.8 m/s) for adjacent treadmills. It was dismantled in September 2009 due to too low availability, to be replaced by a classic treadmill in March 2011.
