Railway bridge
viaduc de Chanteloube
The viaduct of Chanteloube, also known as the bridge des Moulettes, is an art work for railway use, located in the commune of Chorges, Hautes-Alpes department. Since the line from Chorges to Barcelonnette for which it was intended was not completed, the work never received railway equipment and saw no train passing. Twenty-five years after the abandonment of the railway project, the launching of the Serre-Ponçon dam in 1960 led to the almost complete submersion of the viaduct.
