Viaduc de Culoz

The viaduct of Culoz or viaduc du Rhône is a railway bridge in beams crossing the Rhône between the municipalities of Culoz (Ain) and Vions (Savoie). It is on the route of the line from Culoz to Modane (border), built between 1856 and 1858. The current bridge succeeds a previous bridge, then located right next door and also named Culoz viaduct, having the same function and inaugurated on 2 September 1858.
