About

The viaduct of Port-Aubry is a French railway bridge crossing the Loire River, connecting the municipality of Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire (Nièvre) with that of Bannay (Cher). This work was built on the old military track " Bourges - Toul" by the railway company from Paris to Orléans, hence the name given to it locally as "Pont du P.-O.". With a total length of 828 m, it is one of the longest railway trellis bridges in France, with Cubzac (2,178 m).
