The Gallo-Roman villa of Gleyzia is an archaeological site located in the Augreilh district of the municipality of Saint-Sever, in the French department of Landes.

Presentation: The Augreilh district is recognized as one of the oldest residential homes in Saint-Sever. Polished axes of Neolithic and the presence of this Gallo-Roman villa attest to a manifest and persistent human settlement in the territory of the commune. The villa, located at the place called the Gleyzia in the Augreilh district, is nowadays a private property.

History: The villa is a marina and a farm owned by an important Roman citizen. It is built during the Lower Roman Empire between 350 and 380 on a site of 5 hectares, in the plain of Adour. It has hypocaust heated thermal baths and has a double peristyle. It was allegedly abandoned and ravaged during barbaric invasions during late antiquity before being covered by vegetation. From the fifth century onwards, a paleo-Christian parish enclosure occupies the site with the church of Saint-Pé de Mazères and its necropolis, until the fourteenth century.
