The church of Notre-Dame d'Athenay is a Romanesque church, formerly a parish church, located in the hamlet of Athenay in Chemiré-le-Gaudin, in the French department of Sarthe. Property of the commune it is maintained and animated by the association Les amis de l'église d'Athenay since 1987. The age of its construction and its abundant movable heritage, particularly its 17th century ceramic statuary, characterize this small rural church.
