About

The church of Drosnay was one of the wooded churches of the Pays du Der located in the commune of Drosnay in the department of Marne. The building was characterized by a double-slope roof that covered it entirely. It was built near a castral mot.

Inside was a set of 18th-century panelling and a high altar and altarpiece dated 1667. In one of its windows, a 16th-century stained glass window from the glass painting workshops of the nearby city of Troyes represented the tree of Jesse, the name used to designate the genealogical tree of Christ. It has been classified as historic monuments since 21 December 1982.

It was completely destroyed by a fire on 7 July 2023, probably due to a short circuit. In April 2025, the state announced its reconstruction.
