The Church of Notre-Dame de Vals is a semi-rupestrous church on three levels, known for the Romanesque frescoes it contains, of great historical and artistic interest. The church was classified as historical monuments on November 19, 1910, while the stone cross outside the church was classified on March 2, 1959. The building is located on the way to Pyrenean Piedmont, one of the most important secondary routes of the pilgrimage of Santiago de Compostela.
