église Saint-Aignan de Chartres
The church of Saint-Aignan owes its name to the bishop of Orléans around 400, when there was already a pre-Roman church, replaced later by other buildings that suffered fires in the 12th century, then in 1262. Saint-Aignan was the parish of the Counts of Blois and Chartres. The church of Saint-Aignan is classified as historical monuments in the list of protected historical monuments in 1840.
