Location: The church is located in the French department of Maine-et-Loire, in the commune of Saint-Clément-des-Lvées.

This church built between 1844 and 1848 by the chalandoux (name given to the sailors of the Loire in Anjou) is the work of architect Joly Letherme. It faces the Loire, its 2 bell towers surmounted by lanterns serving as beacons for sailors going up or down the Loire.

The building was listed as historic monuments in 1991.
