Location: The church is located in the French department of Val-de-Marne and the commune of Fontenay-sous-Bois. Antan, his parish was called the parish of Saint-Germain de Fontenay on the wood of Vincennes.
It was built at the end of the 14th century on the foundations of a 13th century church. The bells were baptized in 1534, but the nave was not completed until the middle of the 16th century. In the 19th century, major damage caused by lightning led to restorations under the leadership of architect Claude Naissant. Organs were installed there in 1666. The altarpiece dates from the 19th century. Two 18th century paintings representing the Holy Family and St.Sebastien were found there during roofing. The building was listed as historic monuments in 1926. The stained glass dates from the early 20th century. One of them represents the 42nd Infantry Regiment based in Belfort.
