About

The church of Saint-Germain d'Arquenay - which was both prioral and parish - presents the shape of a Latin cross. Its ancient architectures have been very redesigned; They support wooden vaults and an apparent frame. Perched with a Gothic window, the building houses at the high altar, a 17th-century altarpiece that has retained its original painting: "The Resurrection" and polychrome terracotta statues.

Side retables date back to the 19th century. The back of the altar is black marble from Louverné. The inventory took place on 12 February 1906.
