History: The church of Saint Guingalois is named after the relics of Saint Guénolé (now Guingalois), which were brought there by Benedictine Breton monks during the Norman invasions. The foundation of the priory dates back to that time. The Saint-Guingalois collegiate was built around 1070 and ceded to the monks of Marmoutier Abbey. The church, including crypt and sacristy, was listed as historical monuments on 20 April 1967.
Description: The church has a 13th-century Gothic choir and a broken nave in the 16th century. The transept and bell tower date back to the 19th century. The organ buffet has been classified as an object in historical monuments since 23 June 1988.
