About

The former church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Sansa is a Romanesque church in Sansa, France. Former parish church of the village, the building is enlarged and renovated at one or more times unknown and equipped with rich 17th century furniture. In the 19th century, the church lost its status as a parish church for a new church built above in the village, where its furniture was moved. The abandoned building gradually fell into ruins and was restored at the beginning of the 21st century.
