église Saint-Julien de Luyères
Description: The church, dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, is on a rectangular base with a three-sided protruding apse. It has a 15th century jube in forty-six carved wooden panels. It includes two glass windows illustrating the Resurrection of the daughter of Jairus, the Resurrection of Lazarus, Saint Wolf, the Baptism of Christ and the Transfiguration.
History: It was a priest-prieuré who had as branch Fontaine-Luyères dependent on the abbey Saint-Loup de Troyes and was at the Grand dean of Troyes. The parish was given to the abbey by Garnier de Traînel in 1196. In 1761 this represented nine hundred pounds for the prior who had the rights since 1701 and one hundred pounds for the factory. The building was classified as historical monuments in 1958.
