Saint-Melaine Church is a place of Catholic worship from the 15th and 16th centuries, located in Morlaix, in the French department of Finistère, Brittany.

Church of Notre-Dame: The chapel of Saint Mary in Morlaix was originally included in the parish of Ploujean. In the middle of the 12th century, it is given, with all its outbuildings, to the abbey Saint-Melaine of Rennes by Guyomarc'h III, Viscount of Leon. His son, Hervé II, confirmed the donation in 1154. A priory Saint-Melaine was founded between 1149 and 1157. Its estate includes the entire part of the town that is northeast of Jarlot, as well as the villages of La Madeleine and Troudousten. The chapel of Sainte-Marie becomes Prioral Church of Sainte-Marie, then Notre-Dame. We don't know when the priory is secularized. Our Lady, also known as Saint-Melaine, became a parish church.
