Église Saint-Vincent de Barsac

History: Built in the 18th century on the site of an old church destroyed in the 16th century, the building, dedicated to Saint Vincent patron saint of winemakers, was classified as historical monuments by order of 1 December 1908. Presenting a very sober facade and surmounted by a bell tower with slate dome, it houses various elements of 18th-century furniture including a master altar and remarkable and classified retables, and various artistic works such as choir woodwork by Simon, made of Quéva marble, organ stand of Mollié, woodwork by Combes in the sacristy, altarpiece by Barthélemy Cabirol. One of the walls of the interior porch of the church presents a curiosity: about a metre above the ground, a line indicates an exceptional flood of the Garonne with the mention "THE 7th April ANO 1770 DEBORDEMANT".
