église Saint-Éloi de Liergues
The church of Saint Eloi de Liergues, rebuilt in the 15th century, has two choruses. One of them contains 16th century murals. It is penetrated by a main door carrying a Renaissance decoration.
The standing monk dates back to 1556. The woodwork is decorated with very expressive carved heads. Stone statuettes represent the workers of the village: a blacksmith, a man and his dog, a logger, a winemaker cutting the vine.
The church is located in the parish of Saint Cyprien in Buisante.
