Église Saint-Étienne-et-Saint-Clair is a Romanesque church located in Saint-Étienne-de-Chomeil in the French department of Cantal, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It is protected by historical monuments.

Location: The church Saint-Étienne-et-Saint-Clair is located in the centre of the village of Saint-Étienne-de-Chomeil, on the edge of the departmental road 205.

History: In 917, a first church existed in this village. Construction of the current building began in the 11th century. Two side chapels close to the choir were added in the 14th – 15th century. The nave is made longer and a Gothic porch and gate are built in the 15th century. Two other chapels were then added on both sides of the nave, that of the north in the sixteenth century and that of the south in 1844. In 1870, a statue of the Virgin was erected at the top of the bell tower. The parish cemetery next to the church was transferred outside the village in 1885, about 500 metres east of the church. The building has been listed as historic monuments since October 28, 1993. The church is under the double patronage of St Stephen, the first martyr of Christendom...
