Théâtre Golovine

The Golovine Theatre was founded in Avignon in 1975 by a couple of star dancers, Catherine Golovine and Georges Golovine. It is located in the former residence of Canon Sylvain, in the heart of the Sainte-Catherine district, behind the Palace of the Popes. Consecrated to dance, he is part of the city's permanent theatres and offers a "Off Dance" program focused on choreographic art at the Festival Off d'Avignon, of which he is a historical figure.
