Assembly since the early 1990s, the Philippe Méaille collection is sometimes lent to institutions; until 2017 it was partly exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona (MACBA). The permanent collection is installed in the castle built in the 15th and 16th centuries and hosts works such as the manuscript of the Victorine opera book or the Mirror Piece and Air-Conditioning Show installations. The museum also has an annual programme of temporary exhibitions of contemporary art and events.
