Saint-Michel de Saint-Ange-et-Torçay is a Catholic church located in the commune of Saint-Ange-et-Torçay, in the French department of Eure-et-Loir, in the Centre-Val de Loire region. It is the oldest and most interesting monument in the municipality. Behind the hillside of the Blaise, in Saint-Angela, it appears as an elegant construction dominated by its bell tower which, like many churches in the Thymerais, is covered with slate and whose frame descends to the ground.
In 2006, Saint Michael's church was the subject of a remarkable restoration. One may think that the choice of Saint Michael as patron saint is linked to the name of Saint Angel because Saint Michael is the patron saint of angels. He is known for having buried the dragon: in Revelation (12-7), it is written "There was a battle in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon.
And the dragon also fought with his angels; but he didn't have the upper hand; He was rushed down."
