The Galgenberg is a fortified work of the Maginot line, located in the commune of Cattenom, in the French department of Moselle in the Grand Est region. It's a big artillery structure, with eight blocks. Built in 1931, it was spared the fighting of June 1940. He is nicknamed "the guardian of the Moselle".
