The castle of Roquessels is a castle in ruins of Roquessels in the Hérault, in France, only the old chapel remains. The chapel, former church of Notre-Dame, was listed as a historic monument in 1991. Among the seigneurs of the place are Pierre de Lisle, paying tribute for his land of Roquessels to the senechal of Carcassonne in 1221, Henri de Vanière, seigneur of Castelet, and commander of 50 men of arms of the king, who married "honneste de moiselle noble Marguerite Aymar de Roquezels" in 1463, and finally Annibal de Landes de Saint-Palais, quoted in a balance of 1667.
