Church building
église Saint-Paterne d'Orléans
The Saint-Paterne Church of Orléans is a Catholic church located in Orléans, Loiret, France. It is dedicated to Paterne d'Avranches. Its origin dates back to the 12th century.
Destroyed several times over the centuries, the current construction dates back to the 19th century. In 1830, French painter and engraver Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot painted an urban landscape integrating the bell tower of Saint-Paterne Church, an element destroyed in 1913.
