About

The Régemortes Bridge is a stone bridge above the Allier, in Moulins, in the homonymous department. It bears the name of Louis de Règemortes, the engineer who designed and built it in the mid-18th century. An innovative bridge for his time, he was the first to resist the strong floods of the river. It has been listed as historical monuments since 1946.
