The Pleyel urban crossing is a bridge crossing the northern part of the railway beam at Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis) by connecting the areas separated by the railways and providing connections between several public transport stations and their access to the Stade de France.
The Pleyel Urban Crossing Project (FUP) is designed by architect Marc Mimram, a bridge design specialist, who designed the Léopold-Sedar-Senghor Bridge in Nantes and the Fraternity Bridge that crosses the Saint-Denis Canal in Aubervilliers to:
connecting the Landy district to the Pleyel district, cut off from the historic city centre, to provide connections between the metro station Carrefour Pleyel (line 13), the station Saint-Denis Pleyel (lines 14 of the Paris metro, 15, 16 and 17 of the Grand Paris Express and the line D of the RER, while facilitating access by public transport to the Stade de France and the Saint-Denis Olympic Aquatic Centre.
