Le Sablier

The Sablier is a monument located in Dunkirk, France, at the northwest end of the LAAC Grand Large site. Designed by plasticist artist Séverine Hubard the monument was erected in 2017 following a contest to commemorate the dynamo operation another name of the Battle of Dunkirk that occurred at the beginning of the second world conflict. This production comes at the time of the release of the movie Dunkirk that traces this episode.
