pont Dorian
The Dorian Bridge (1903-1958) is one of twenty bridges built in the commune of Rive-de-Gier in the Loire department. It was inaugurated on 25 June 1904. The bridge was 72.22 metres long and spanned the Gier and the canal from the Faubourg Delay to the Saint John church.
Two piles of masonries supported an iron apron. It was demolished in 1958 and transformed into a roundabout in 1997.
