pont Jeanne-d'Arc
The Jeanne-d'Arc Bridge is a bridge crossing the Seine at Melun, Seine-et-Marne, France. Attesting the presence at Melun of a crossing between Saint-Étienne Island and the right bank from the Gallo-Roman period, it has been rebuilt several times since then, the current bridge being inaugurated in 1950. A one-way pedestrian road bridge, bordering an important bus stop on St-Étienne Island, the Jeanne-d'Arc Bridge is one of the main routes of Melun's travel and its agglomeration. He thus caught the attention of artists through time.
