Église de l'Observance

The church of the Cordeliers de l'Observance was a church assigned to the Catholic cult, it was located on the right bank of the Saône upstream of the castle of Pierre Scize in the current 9th arrondissement of Lyon, at the bottom of the current climb of the Observance. It was completed in 1496 and is the last Gothic church in Lyon. Destroyed by Protestants in 1562, it was later rebuilt. In ruins in 1846, it was replaced by a chapel and finally demolished in 1936.
